Hannah, Jacob's youngest sister, called me last night all excited ... she got her first 'real' job - busing tables at Pasquallies in Rapids. Jamie, isn't this where you worked and it was awful?? Did you know JoAnn, the bartender? She sold PC & is friends with Ranee - we went to Chicago together for this conference last summer and she was so much fun!
PS ... I never seen anyone over Thanksgiving ... at least no one important like you girls! I seen lots of people I 'knew' from school or jobs at the downtown lighting. I'm also proud to say I never even stepped in WalMart - probably would have seen a billion more people, though!

I didn't see anyone really outside of family.. the entire weekend was filled with 80% of my family members. This is quite a feat considering I have over 100 cousins on my dad's side.
I didn't even have time to pester the JMo, and she practically lives at my doorstep.. or at least on the path to my parents' house.
Sorry - I really thought I'd have time. I even made quasi plans with a friend from Wausau, but that was wishful thinking.
Speaking of, she talked about this "Rock Band" game that's similar to Guitar Hero. I LOVE Guitar Hero, so I demanded that we play when I'm in town around Xmas. Do any of you partake in Guitar Hero or its spawn?
We have a wii and I'm planning on getting Guitar Hero - but the wii version - for jacob for Christmas.
No problem - the kids slept terrible at my parents house so I was a walking zombie and pawned them off every chance I got so I could get a little nap in. It was rough with Jacob hunting every day. It was like I'd get them good and asleep and then Jacob would be up at 4 so I'd get like 3 hours of sleep if Brennan didn't wake up - which never happened!
We don't have any consoles for gaming, so I haven't played any games like that. I hear Rock Band is pretty decent though.
I didn't see anyone except my family either. Rock invited me to have some drinks at the Mead, but I had just taken 2 ibuprofin and 2 acetominiphin for a migraine and I decided that it might not be so wise for me to add booze to that mix.
Also, something I haven't mentioned before, my parents were already in bed and I wasn't mentally prepared to do anything but go to bed when she invited me at about 10:20. It is strange how old I've become.
I enjoyed Guitar Hero when I played it with Will, though I wasn't very good at it. I also have both Katamari Damacy games for the PS2 that I could bring home.
I plan to buy myself a Wii for Christmas...but I've never guitar heroed. I did Dance Dance Revolution with Jon's 10-year-old sister at Thanksgiving, though. Actually, that was pretty good exercise.
yes, working there was the suck. My boss was a total dickweed to me there, and very unappreciative. I don't know that lady, she must have started after I quit.
I got sick over break, so I wasn't in the way of seeing anyone, anyway. I still feel gross.
I caught another round of the gross (well, mini-gross) this week. This seems like a particularily gross-filled fall/winter.
For real. I've had 2 bladder infections this year and 2 horrible flus. And I usually almost never get sick. My adviser thinks I'm the world's biggest asshole and I'm going to have to work my ass off to make it up.
This is the first fall/winter I haven't gotten sick. No major surgeries no major stomach problems and no major colds. Maybe by body thinks having a baby was enough work! (I probably just ruined my chances of having a sick free winter by posting this, though)
